This session will discuss reflective feedback as an integral part of healthcare education. Reflective feedback requires an understanding of the roles of the facilitator and participant. Reflective feedback can be verbal, written or a combination. In this session, exemplary examples will be provided and participants will be able to role play utilizing reflective feedback statements.
At the end of this session, the participant will:
• Define reflective feedback.
• Identify best practices in the utilization of reflective feedback strategies.
• Implement reflective feedback statements in an active learning demonstration.
