Common Eye Diseases: Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration and Cataracts
Sarwat Salim, MD, FACS, associate professor of Ophthalmology and director of Glaucoma at HEI, will discuss “Common Eye Diseases: Focus on Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration and Cataracts” at a free seminar on Tuesday, February 19 at 6:30 p.m. The event will be held at 7945 Wolf River Boulevard in Germantown. Glaucoma, macular degeneration, and cataracts can cause severe vision loss or even blindness. Age increases the risk of developing one or more of these conditions. Early detection and treatment can preserve eyesight and help to maintain a normal lifestyle.
